Lil Wayne omission from the Super Halftime Show in favor of headliner Kendrick Lamar has been a hot topic of late. And one that many have weighed in on more than the man himself.
However, that changed last night at the Weezyana Fest in New Orleans – Weezy’s hometown and the location of the Super Bowl 2025.
For, just before performing the song ‘Mr. Carter,’ the rapper let his feelings be known.

Speaking candidly, Wayne declared that the opportunity has been “ripped” from him. He quipped:
“It was ripped away from me, but this moment right here…they can’t take that.”
