And it looks like work is officially underway.

Hugging it up with Mimi in a clip shared to social media, Daniels says: of ‘The Meaning of Mariah Carey’:
“Getting ready to go to on another journey.”
Carey earlier hinted at taking her New York Times Bestseller onto screens – in either film or series form alongside Daniels who she worked with on ‘Precious.’
The creative maestro, who has established himself as a force by way of titles such as ‘Empire’ and ‘The Deliverance,’ has spoken up and out about the venture being an “epic limited series.”
And while it’s not definitively known which format the collaboration will take, it appears the wheels are firmly turning.
