For reasons unknown, certain sects of social media have been linking the deletion of tweets from particular artist pages to the charges the embattled mogul is facing.
The Bad Boy founder has been hit with three federal charges: racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
It’s given way to conspiracy theories from folk trying to tie other celebrities to the melée in relation to the now-famous “Diddy Parties.”
Setting the record straight, ‘Just Like a Pill’ belter took to Instagram to write:
“I don’t know why I became a headline this week, but I wiped my Twitter account on February 6!!!
There is no truth to the rumors spread this week, and while I’ve met people in passing, I’m not associated with any of the people mentioned.”
