Renowned house vocalist, songwriter, and producer Shyam P has teamed up with legendary Afro House producer, DJ, and piano virtuoso Moon Rocket on a groundbreaking electronic album titled More Than Art and Science, slated for release on May 24th, 2024. Both artists have garnered over 25 million streams on Spotify alone. Shyam P’s distinctive vocals, effortless songwriting, and soulful performances have earned him support from Radio 1, CamelPhat, and Annie Mac, as well as collaborations with industry giants like Ferreck Dawn, Second City, and Josh Butler. Meanwhile, Moon Rocket has been delivering his magical live shows at some of the biggest clubs in New York, Miami and across Italy. His unparalleled piano playing and production skills have solidified his status as a legend in the Afro House scene.
The album’s debut release ‘Watercolours’ offered a tantalising glimpse into the synergistic dynamism of this duo, garnering acclaim from global publications such as CLASH Magazine and receiving Spotify editorial support. Following the success of ‘Watercolours’, the duo delivered their second single, ‘Leave The World Behind’, which offered passionate vocals and buoyant, uptempo production packaged in a dance anthem.
Lastly, they are presenting the lead single of More Than Art and Science, ‘Worlds Apart’. A hauntingly beautiful, percussive, and deep track, ‘Worlds Apart’ offers a unique perspective through the eyes of a ghost, serving as a beautiful tribute to Shyam P’s father-in-law who he never got to meet.
