Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck set the net ablaze after being spotted with their children in Los Angeles yesterday (September 14).
The sighting surprised many given that Lopez filed for divorce from the actor last month after two years of marriage. It’s a move that seemingly ends a lengthy chapter that started with the couple’s initial relationship and first engagement two decades ago.
However, the latest “Bennifer” sighting sparked speculation of a possible reconciliation – one that would put a pause on divorce proceedings.
A source, though, says ‘not so fast.’

Citing an insider, PEOPLE shared:
“They all came together for a fun lunch so the kids could hang out.
[Jennifer’s] trying to be friendly with Ben. They are still moving forward with the divorce though. They are working out financial details amicably.”
The source continued:
“A divorce is never easy, but Jennifer doesn’t want to be selfish about it. The kids always got along and have fun together. It makes her happy seeing the kids happy together. Happy kids are her priority.”
