Special Oasis event at Salford Lads Club
Special Oasis memorabilia and a record fair event is to be staged at Salford lads Club club on November 23 and 24 to raise thousands of pounds for the fund to keep the famous club in existence.
On the 24th there will be a Q&A session with Oasis drummer and founding member, Tony McCarroll. It will start at 6pm and will be hosted by journalist John Robb.
Kyle Dale, Director of Bittersweet Home says: “We had an incredible time at Salford Lads Club back in June with Together We’ll Fly selling out across the days there. Knowing we provided the club with their highest ever donation generating weekend was really special to hear.
“So when they asked me to come back and help save the club it was a no brainer. With only two weeks to prepare we love a challenge! Tickets are on sale for the Tony McCarroll Q&A now and I’m working on filling the two days with local talent and more Manchester Royalty.
“There will be an incredible amount of Manchester Music Memorabilia on show too from The Smiths, Oasis, Courteeners and Stone Roses which will be open to the public throughout the days, no ticket needed for this but an encouraged £10 donation on the way in to the room.”
Sue Binder, Head of Finance, at the Lads Club, said: “Now that we’re so close to the first target of £250k to keep the club going in the immediate term, we’re really excited to share our plans for a Salford Lads and Girls Club Legacy Fund, which will help the club stay sustainable long term.
