Tramlines have released a limited number of day tickets for the first day of their three day festival, so Paolo Nutini fans need to be quick or they’ll miss his headline slot in Sheffield’s Hillsborough Park.
The Scottish hitmaker tops the Tramlines bill on the Sarah Nulty Main Stage on Friday 26 July and he’ll be joined that day by Bombay Bicycle Club, disco queen Sophie Ellis-Baxter, Miles Kane and special guests The View. The Charlatans headline T’Other Stage with support from Soft Play and Dylan John Thomas. If you want a laugh panel show stalwart Lucy Beaumont is joined on T’Other Stage Comedy by Justin Moorhouse from Phoenix Nights.
Jamie T will close the main stage on Saturday 27 July joined by Tom Grennan, The Snuts, and local legends Everly Pregnant Brothers are the special guests. Rising star Holly Humberstone is on T’Other Stage Live supported by a DJ set from Radio One’s Annie Mac and over on T’Other Comedy Stage there’s some madness from Angleos Epithemiou. The Leadmill Stage has hosted some acts that go onto make the main stage with Peace and English Teacher from just up the road in Leeds looking to make a move up next year.
Last year there was torrential rain so organisers will hope final day headliners Snow Patrol will bring the sun with him alongside Example and Maximo Park, and there’ll be a massive outpouring of love for Steel City giants The Human League playing some of their vast catalogue of hits. Yard Act and The Pigeon Detectives will draw big crowds at the T’Other Stage as will another comedy panel regular John Richardson.
