Anna St. Louis has shared a new video for her latest single ‘Everything (Demo)‘, taken from her upcoming EP “Home Recordings” (out March 27th), a collection of songs from a space carved out in the heart of winter’s desolation.
Home Recordings is a deliberate paring-down, a rejection of artifice in favour of stark minimalism that amplifies the quietude inherent in grief. These are not pristine studio creations; they are intentionally “rough around the edges,” bearing the marks of their genesis in unvarnished honesty that also reflects the vulnerability and authenticity at the heart of her songwriting.
