Liverpool look to go into the international break on a high as they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this afternoon.
Arne Slot’s side are on a five-match winning run and sit clear at the top of the Premier League, with the chance to extend their advantage to four points for at least a couple of hours.
A midweek win over Bologna in the Champions League extended Liverpool’s strong form and they will be keen to ensure there are no slip-ups before the break, after which they face the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid in the space of just over a month.
Palace are still waiting for their first Premier League win of the season and they are currently in the relegation zone, with only Southampton scoring fewer goals than the Eagles.
