A man has been pronounced dead at Manchester Airport – with reports that he fell from a car park.
Emergency services were called to a car park at the airport at about 7.40pm last night. The man – aged in his 40s – was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: “At around 7.40pm on Friday 17 May 2024, we were called to reports of a concern for welfare of a man at Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2.
“Officers attended the scene and located the victim. Despite the best effort of the emergency services, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and enquiries are ongoing.”
