A huge diesel spillage and vehicle has sparked rush hour traffic on the M6, with hour-long delays for commuters.
Emergency services attended the scene in Staffordshire this morning (November 20), with three of the four northbound lanes remaining closed.
National Highways is warning of severe delays of up to two hours for drivers. The clean-up operation is underway.
A post on their website read: “Staffs fire are leading the response with National Highways Traffic Officers providing assistance with traffic management.”
