Indian Exit Polls Predict Modi Returned Stronger
Republic TV is reporting that exit polls of voters suggest PM Narenda Modi will be returned with his NDA government winning over 350 seats and the opposition’s INDIA bloc managing somewhere between 125 and 150 seats. This will give Modi a comfortable increased absolute majority in the 543 seat Lok Sabha. Modi’s campaign focused on the opposition’s real or imaginary tax raising plans.
The real result is expected after counting is completed on Tuesday…
