Clara Mann has shared ‘Til I Come Around‘, the new single from her forthcoming debut album, ‘Rift‘ (7th March 2025 – via state51). Even back in 2022, when we chose ‘Thread‘ as our Song of the Day, she was identified by many as an exciting emerging artist. This has led to her supporting the likes of Bill Ryder-Jones, Bat for Lashes, and Daniel Rossen (Grizzly Bear), and she’s currently on tour with Christian Lee Hutson (still some dates left to run – see below) with a headline album launch tour in April 2025.
On the new track, Clara offered:
“‘Til I Come Around’ is about intimacy, in every sense. Sometimes the flip side of beautiful, intense things is very dark- and once you know that, once you’ve lived it once, it’s hard to live the beautiful things without thinking about the heaviness. This is about trying to live with all those contradictions, about bitterness and loss, about love, about passion.”
The song is accompanied by a visualiser, for which Clara was the Director of Photography, alongside Louise Mason (Producer, Art Direction).
