FOOTBALL MANAGER’S most-signed wonderkid Valentin Barco has been gifted a special shirt to acknowledge his in-game accomplishments.
The Argentine signed for Brighton in January with technical director David Weir revealing they beat some big clubs to his signature.
Barco has made six appearances since arriving on the south coast for £7.8million.
He joined with a big reputation thanks to video game Football Manager, which ranks Barco as the most signed wonderkid on the game.
In total, the 19-year-old has been bought 237,810 times and played 8.9million matches, Football Manager revealed.
And to mark his achievement the franchise gifted Barco a one-of-a-kind shirt.
The top, manufactured by Hummel, bears a Football Manager logo crest and written on the back is: “Most signed 24”.
Another shirt bears Barco’s name and the left-back was all smiles as he posed with his gift.
The highly-rated youngster previously played for Boca Juniors, joining the club in 2014 aged 10 before rising up the ranks.
Barco attracted interest from the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, but the Seagulls swooped first.
