Our latest Mixtape is from our Lost in Transmission Series and features new music from Karl Blau‘s Vultures of Love, Tucker Zimmerman‘s new album Dance of Love (featuring Big Thief, Zach Burba (IJI) and Mat Davidson (Twain) as his backing band), Bonnie “Prince Billy‘s latest single (from his new album The Purple Bird), Johnny Coley’s forthcoming debut for Mississippi Records Mister Sweet Whisper, Devarrow‘s Heart Shaped Rock,  Anna McClellan‘s highly anticipated album Electric Bouquet, Scott Ballew‘s Rio Bravo, Joan Shelley‘s new 12″ EP Mood Ring, Annarella & Django‘s Jouer, Yasmin Williams‘ Acadia, Dawn McCarthy & Bonny Billy‘s Wai Notes,

Keeping things fresh, you can hear Too Late, the forthcoming single (out on 25th October) from The Fynches–the brainchild of brothers Ferdia and Oisín Walsh-Peelo, who, along with drummer Camryn Teehan, are gearing up for an exciting Winter Tour throughout November (details here).

We also have a track from Universal Light featuring Mike Gangloff (Pelt, Black Twig Pickers) on fiddle, Jesse Sheppard (Elkhorn, The Heavy Lidders) on guitar, and Kaily Schenker (Solar Hex) on cello. Their self-titled album is available now via Bandcamp.

Rounding things off, we have a track by the late amateur guitar player Charles “Poppy Bob” Walker, taken from Dirt Bike Vacation (via Worried Songs Records – Bandcamp), which explores Walker’s sonic world through a captivating set of instrumental songs made in the mid-1980s.

And finally, a live track from Helado Negro, taken from the new fundraising compilation album Cardinals At The Window, which features a staggering 136 tracks compiled by Libby Rodenbough, David Walker, and Grayson Haver Currin. 100% of proceeds go to Helene relief and recovery in Western NC. Current recipients of funds are the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, Mutual Aid Disaster Relief, Rural Organizing and Resilience (via Holler Harm Reduction), and Poder Emma (via Colaborativa la Milpa).
