The latest Monday Morning Brew playlist opens to the incredible and much-missed Brooklyn, NY-based composer, trumpeter, and singer Jaimie Branch, who passed away in 2022 (details on how to listen ti the playlist can be found below).
In case you missed it, Sam Amidon’s new album, Salt River, is out now, so it’s nice to be able to share more from this truly eclectic album.
Eclectic is an easily applied word, but here we have an artist releasing a groundbreaking, spirited and adventurous album that is genuinely worthy of the description.

Another gem from David Allred’s new album The Beautiful World (review), described in KLOF Mag as being emotionally complex but admirably light of touch…with its quiet power being nothing short of amazing.
