Last week, Henry Parker and David Ian Roberts released their new album Chasing Light. In his KLOF review of the album, Glenn Kimpton opens: “There is something beautifully pure about a duo instrumental acoustic guitar album, and Chasing Light by two of our most dynamic advocates of the acoustic is a splendid example of the wonderful magic that can be created by two intuitive musicians operating their beloved string boxes”.
He concludes it’s “a rich, fulfilling work by two players operating at a very high level and seemingly enjoying every moment.”
That magic is conveyed and beautifully captured in their latest live video, which was filmed and edited by Daniel Johnson Gray. They are performing the album title track—”a bright and bouncing track…a pretty, bucolic number.”
