Kidnapped Real Estate Agent Esther Osaze Found Dead in Delta-ASABA
Esther Osaze, a real estate agent abducted in Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, has been found dead.
Osaze was kidnapped on Monday by unidentified gunmen who also shot a police officer during a rescue attempt. Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, confirmed her death, stating that her body was discovered in a bush.
“She was shot,” Edafe said, calling the incident unfortunate.
Osaze had gone to inspect a piece of land near the Nigeria Admiralty University, Ibusa, with three colleagues when the gunmen attacked. They opened fire on their vehicle, causing the others to escape while Osaze was taken.
One of her colleagues sustained gunshot wounds and is currently in critical condition.
