Meghan Markle living ‘isolated’ life in Montecito as she suffers from ‘regrets’

Meghan Markle lives an “isolated” life in California and still has “resentment” after her acrimonious exit from the Royal Family, a royal expert claimed.

Meghan and Prince Harry left the Royal Family in 2020, and have since lived in their Montecito mansion with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

In that time, the Sussexes have undertaken a number of projects in that time, including a Netflix series, Meghan’s lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, and Harry’s bombshell memoir ‘Spare.’

Despite their efforts to move on, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield says Meghan still has “resentment.”

She also told Fox News: “It is important to Meghan that it appears she has moved on, and the drama is beneath her. But that is not the reality.

“There is still a resentment that fuels a lot of the work she has done over the last three-and-a-half years.”

Ms Schofield added that Meghan lives an “isolated” life in Montecito.

She continued: “The qualifications to be her friend are no secret… she typically gravitates towards people that can offer her something, and contribute to her personal goals.

“Sightings of the couple are rare and advances towards establishing (connections) with the Sussexes are mostly rejected.”

Reports in recent months have suggested that Harry would beopen to a return to the UK.

However, it has been claimed that Meghan would be opposed to such a plan.

Royal expert Tom Quinn told The Mirror that Meghan is too worried about her family’s safety to come back.

He said: “Meghan has said she’s only prepared to return to England if she and Harry have a place of their own and the security they both feel is essential. Meghan will never return to the UK and stay with her husband‘s relatives.”

Mr Quinn added: “Harry was absolutely furious and in tears about being evicted from Frogmore.

“He felt his father had no right to do it and that it was purely vindictive. Harry couldn’t see that choosing to stop being a working royal would inevitably mean being deprived of his royal residence. Harry took it as a cruel rejection.”
