Woke Wales Waste Half a Million Pounds on ‘Anti-Racist Professional Learning’ in One Year

While Welsh public services have been strapped for cash, the Senedd forked out £815,942 of taxpayers’ money on the scheme for educational professionals since its launch in 2022. Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives didn’t hold back:
“Wales’ schools and hospitals are crying out for cash, yet the Labour Welsh Government are prioritising this woke nonsense. At a time where Labour-run Wales’ education system is suffering substantial cuts and the steepest decline in results in the whole UK, cash for diversity training is rapidly rising. Left-wing politicians have focussed on pointless pet projects for too long, this money should be used to save Labour’s lost generation here in Wales.”
